Massage & Body Therapies Module
This module introduces the fundamental principles of human anatomy, physiology, Swedish massage techniques, and body therapies used in relaxation massage treatments.
Theoretical Training Includes:
History of massage and body systems
Relaxation massage techniques and use of essential oils
Anatomy and physiology and benefits of massage
Posture, hygiene, and professional practices
Contraindications for massage
Room and work area setup

Full back and shoulder massage
Back of leg and foot massage
Front of leg and foot massage
Stomach massage
Arm and hand massage
Neck, shoulder, and décolletage massage
Face and ear massage
Relaxation and aromatherapy massage techniques
Basic Swedish massage strokes including effleurage, petrissage, friction, percussion, and vibration
